New Home Rebate Program
Building an energy-efficient home will benefit your family - and your budget - for years to come. Because a home in the energy right® program controls heat loss and gain much better than other homes, you'll enjoy savings on your energy bills throughout the year.
For any newly constructed all electric home:
- $200 per home
- $100 per water heater
To qualify, a home must have electric water heating, clothes drying, cooking, and a heat pump. Dual fuel heat pumps are allowed under this program as well as gas logs or small gas heaters.
To make homes energy efficient, we suggest these minimums:
- R-30 insulation overhead
- R-13 in exterior walls
- R-19 under the floor
- Vinyl or wooden framed windows
- 13 SEER (or higher) heat pump
